a girl's night out ((Tag victor))
April is not quite sure what to wear right now. She has plans for a "Girl's Night Out" with Victor Allen and Lorne. There is still a big part of her that is uneasy about celebrating, for any reason. But tonight is about finding peace in what she experienced. And bond with someone else who felt the same pain and torment.
She decides on a simply gray dress, with a white boa around the color and pearls in her hair. She PINs to the Nexus, to a place where she is to meet Victor and Lorne. The green skinned demon was more than excited about the new adventure. And he was already awaiting her arrival with a big grin.

Her cane is silvery, and light, with leaves painted on it. She heads over, looking sheepish.

April just bit her lip, a little shy about his complement. "Thanks for coming Victor. You too Lorne."

She objects to calling it a purse. Objects heartily. And really, it's more like an ammo bag.

"Drink mixes?" April questioned.

She had thought the girl's night out would have less focus on the 'out' and they'd be hanging out somewhere quiet, just the three of them, and since she'd said she'd bring drinks when they were on the phone the other night-- she PINs out and returns without the bag, two and a half second flat.

"Don't worry girls, I will find a good place for us three." Lorne concentrated on his senses, following the music to a place that was more of a jazz-type club, than hard rock or that would be packed with people.
"I think I will trust his judgement." April whispered.

"Me too," Victor murmurs. "The man knows music." She links an arm with April, gives her a quick (and shy) kiss on the cheek. "This is gonna be a good night."

((ball with son for an hour, be back soon))

((Have fun!))

"Ladies... everything is on me tonight. Serious." Lorne insisted. April just smiled, and nodded to the idea.

She orders a virgin pina colada because basically that's a yummy tropical smoothie.

"I love jazz. The soul. The heart. The sorrow." Lorne sighed softly.
"This is my first time to a jazz club." April chuckles.

"This is a perfect place to relax." He purred.
April just chuckled softly.

April pauses at her glass. "Still all jumbled."

April sets her hands on her stomach and holds back tears for a moment. She doesn't want to think of her nightmares right now. So instead, listens to the conversation at hand.
