April is not quite sure what to wear right now. She has plans for a "Girl's Night Out" with Victor Allen and Lorne. There is still a big part of her that is uneasy about celebrating, for any reason. But tonight is about finding peace in what she experienced. And bond with someone else who felt the same pain and torment.

She decides on a simply gray dress, with a white boa around the color and pearls in her hair. She PINs to the Nexus, to a place where she is to meet Victor and Lorne. The green skinned demon was more than excited about the new adventure. And he was already awaiting her arrival with a big grin.

"Ladies, you feel ready to depart to somewhere more private?" Lorne asked

"I think so," April smiled. The music was nice, but it would be equally nice to just get away from people in general.

"Sure, works for me." She downs the rest of her now cold-but-not-frozen pina colada in one very impressive gulp.

April stood up, and asked the most important question. "Where should we go?"

She stands up, legs cracking and popping, leaning heavily on her cane. A subtle wince as she tries to work the stiffness out. "Gosh, I'm not sure. We could get a hotel room and just chill."

"I haven't used a Nexus hotel is such a long time. You know of a good place?"

[victormakesart]

"Addison's isn't too bad, but... gosh, it's been a long time since I've used one, too. I remember back when I was 'verse hopping because I didn't really have a... a place. I used them all the time."

"Are you going to be okay for a trip down Memory Lane if we go there?"

[victormakesart]

"Ha, no, it's not a problem. It wasn't so bad being 'verseless."

[slayers_desire]

"I was escaping my universe too, when I first came here."

[victormakesart]

"What were you runnin' from, if you don't mind the question?"

[slayers_desire]

"I... I killed my mother." April replies softly. "And I had wanted to kill my father too."

"Shoot. Shoot, I'm sorry." She hugs onto her tightly, both arms around her, and curls her fingers into hers, leading the way out of the club. "I'm so sorry."

"Not your fault I was in a bad place. It was just... life."

[victormakesart]

"Yeah, I get that, for sure. My reason's... nothing really too big."

[slayers_desire]

"I am sure it was big for you."

[victormakesart]

"A questionable amount of big. Then I kept movin' around, after the... the guy found me."

[slayers_desire]

"That sounds difficult. Always moving. Always being found. Having to move again."

[victormakesart]

"Crashing on friend's floors, moving from earth to earth to earth. I won't miss it."

[slayers_desire]

"I lived a similar nomad life in Qua'Toth. And now, I am so grateful for the life I have and the home that is mine."

"Yeah, I get that. When I first moved in with Liam and Cole, I thought it was just another pit stop. I had no idea that it'd become home. It sneaks up on you."

"Oh wow... nearly seven years since we first met. Clark's timeline of course."

"That's wild! I don't think I'll ever get used to the speed of your timeline. Your baby is gonna outgrow my girls in no time."

"I hope not too fast. I do want our kids to get to know each other."
