lets do the time warp baby ((Future-Verse))
After a full week of classes, April felt drained and accomplished. Things were getting more intense with final papers and preparations for the end of her first year.
It felt good to enter her bed, cuddle into the blankets and fall asleep. Unfortunately, it seemed that her voices were not going to let her sleep easily tonight.
The vision came on stronger than any other she ever had. In the haunting whispers of the vision, April could see all seven faces of the Big Bads that were threatening Rome. And because of her knowledge of the TV shows, April woke up feeling worried.
She had to tell someone. And as she grabbed her phone, April felt strange and was surrounded by a sickly green light. This was bad... she knew it. And she felt being pulled into the light... then falling... falling... falling.
Until she hit the bed again. April gasped out loud. Not sure if that had been part of the dream or not. She didn't even notice that the bed in which she lay was bigger. Or that there was more space in the bedroom either.
Trying her phone again, all April received was static. It was like the phone wasn't working. And she set it down, and glanced around her surroundings. Noticing the bigger bed, and bedroom, April clutched the sheets to her in concern.
"Where am I?"

"Where am I?"

"Honey, I'm home!" he calls out as he opens the front door. He still gets a kick out of saying that.

She didn't even register what he said until she entered the main entrance, and stopped at the sight of the man at the door. It was Clark... but it wasn't her Clark.
"Clark?" Her voice filled with panic.

"I'm not sure. I had a vision. Then this green light surrounded me."
"What year is it?"
no subject
no subject
"It was the Third Evil. That stupid green energy that tried to take me over before."
no subject
But first thing's first. She's upset, distressed, and displaced. "Are you okay?"

"I don't know how to fix this."

She finally notices something else. "You are wearing the Superman suit."

"You always were a Superman in my heart." She shrugs her shoulders. Trying to recover the moment. "I just meant... the last time I saw a future-you, he wore... you wore a different costume."
That made her stop and pause. "Are you the same one? The one I helped recover from Red-Kryptonite?"
no subject
He nods. "That was a few years ago for me. But yes. I am."
no subject
She realizes something else. "Where is your April?"
no subject
He smiles again, reassuringly. "Back in my past. Your present. I should also tell you that your Clark may be a bit shellshocked when you get back."
no subject
"Oh? Why?"
no subject
Again, the careful consideration of how much to say. "Well... my wife looks a bit more pregnant than he's used to."
no subject
"Wife. Pregnant?"

"If something happened, you would know enough to worry more."
no subject
"Why don't I change into something a little less colorful?" he suggests.
