After a full week of classes, April felt drained and accomplished. Things were getting more intense with final papers and preparations for the end of her first year.

It felt good to enter her bed, cuddle into the blankets and fall asleep. Unfortunately, it seemed that her voices were not going to let her sleep easily tonight.

The vision came on stronger than any other she ever had. In the haunting whispers of the vision, April could see all seven faces of the Big Bads that were threatening Rome. And because of her knowledge of the TV shows, April woke up feeling worried.

She had to tell someone. And as she grabbed her phone, April felt strange and was surrounded by a sickly green light. This was bad... she knew it. And she felt being pulled into the light... then falling... falling... falling.

Until she hit the bed again. April gasped out loud. Not sure if that had been part of the dream or not. She didn't even notice that the bed in which she lay was bigger. Or that there was more space in the bedroom either.

Trying her phone again, all April received was static. It was like the phone wasn't working. And she set it down, and glanced around her surroundings. Noticing the bigger bed, and bedroom, April clutched the sheets to her in concern.

"Where am I?"

"I know we'd talked about it before, but... I think part of me wasn't really expecting it to be possible," he admits. "Like we'd get tripped up by some small detail that made it impossible for us to have children together."

"Your older self made it sound like we were planning a big family." April mentions. "And I know that the future is always changing... but us ending up together, married and happy, is one thing I want to hold onto. To keep working towards."

Thinking of even having one child is mindblowing to Clark right now. The thought of many, who knows how many, is just staggering. "Do you want a big family?" he asks. He never had any siblings, and neither did she, but there's no need for their own family to be the same.

"I think that having a big family would be nice. Not so big we can't handle it... of course."

"Right," he agrees. "I mean normal kids are a handful... imagine what would happen with superpowers. Especially when they're teenagers. Or toddlers." But he likes the idea, trying not to become impatient for this to happen in their lives, knowing that it could be years before they're ready.

"Clark never mentioned if the child had inherited our abilities. Did April?" That sounded confusing. But she was curious about what they could be expecting someday in the future.

It does sound confusing, but fortunately he knows what she means. "I don't know about all of them, but... apparently the baby's a big fan of sunlight. And there's a chance it might've inherited your telepathy."

Finally return the donkies to the place where they were rented, April smiled at Clark's answer. "Okay. That does sound like a hands-full combination. Maybe we will have to stop trying after three?"

Clark decides to hurry them out of there before the people running the donkey rental ask about how April mysteriously isn't pregnant anymore. "Three's a good number. I like three." Of course, he knows that there's no guarantee that will be the actual number, but they can try.

April hadn't even thought about the strange looks she received. She was just happy to be concentrating on positive things about their future with Clark. "Works for me."

He just smiles, holding her hand. "Fly you home? I promise I won't drop you."

"I never worry about you dropping me." April embraces him. Looking forward to flying with him again. So soon after flying with his older counterpart.

He looks around to make sure no one is watching, and sweeps her up into his arms, soaring for the sky, and for home.
