when the scheduled time arrives

The passing of time had seemed to go by quicker than April had thought. Even with the fact her training under the Vampire Masters had taken longer than the half-a-century they had promised her. In fact, for her being gone, it had been near 800 years.

But when she returned to the dimension that April once called home... she knew that for everyone else not even a second had passed by. It would be interesting to adjust to.

Glancing at her PINpoint, glad to note that it still worked, April walked over to the bench that she had told Rain to meet her at. For him, it would have been only a second since he last saw her, as a five-year-old girl. But now, here she was all grown up.

And hoping that he would still consider her a friend.

Rain used his watch configured PINpoint to head to the co-ordinates provided in April's note. He wasn't quite sure what to expect. He didn't realize she was going right that second but when he arrived, there she was, all grown up.. or maybe she hadn't gone yet and was just projecting her illusion. Better to go with that until he knew for sure.

"Hi April. Glad I was able to find it alright."

April looked up, to study the Slayer she remembered. "And you look the same..."

"I should hope so, it's only been a few min... oh.. waitaminute...."

"Yah... sort of more time for me."

"So you really did it. Wow. Well you look great. How long were you gone?"

"I've got some savings. For you, I can swing it." He'd been playing his guitar on the street on occasion when he wasn't slaying. It wasn't much but it would get them a nice meal. After 800 years of training, she deserved it.

"As long as it is a nice place you can afford, I am game." April still wants to make sure that Rain can cover the costs.

"We should find a place to change?"

Rain will do what he has to do. "Yeah, we should... ummm... well I can change over there." he points to a nearby bathroom. "If you want to PINpoint somewhere to change and meet back here it's okay with me." he releases her from the hug, puts his backpack down and starts rifling through it for something decent to wear.

"Easy enough for me to change, I will just use one of my new powers." April disappears for a moment. After several minutes, she reappears in a stunning black formal.

Rain was so startled by the disappearance that he waits for her return. He was going to ask what the power was but his jaw dropped and he stared at her. Stunning was indeed the word.

He looked up with interest at her tone of voice.

"Well... I did say.. TRY."

"And do tell... what would you do if you were unable to resist?" She leaned forward slightly, running a hand through her long blonde hair.

"Anything you told me to.." He grinned. Rain tended to wear track pants when he worked out, if he got turned on... she'd notice.

"Pity." That even voice again. "I would have hoped that you would have taken command of the situation, yourself."

"That's entirely possible too." He looked away a second, embarrassed. "Just, y'know.. the whole turned on by being told what to do." He cleared his throat which seemed really dry all of a sudden and tugged at his tie before taking a sip of champagne. He was actually a little turned on right now for some reason. Her voice maybe? Her seeming interest?

"Hard to say what a man is going to do if he's turned on enough.. right?"

"I guess I just have to learn how to. Some of those things I rarely feel anymore, not like I used to."

"I will help you get back in touch with them. We will start maybe in the morning? With a training session."

"Only if you promise to boss me around." he says with a smile, his hand touching her arm casually.

"I promise to make you sweat and horrible angry from all the orders after the first session."

"Sweaty I can deal with, but why angry? I can take it."

"Oh?" he asked, stroking his fingers down her arm. "I never would have guessed. You hid it well."

"You never guessed that my question about relationships might have been because of you?"

He blinks blankly. It had actually not ONCE crossed his mind.

"Uh... well no. I didn't have a clue."

"Oh... well..." Slight flustered April.

"I'm flattered now that I know though." He kisses her again, harder this time.
