when the scheduled time arrives

The passing of time had seemed to go by quicker than April had thought. Even with the fact her training under the Vampire Masters had taken longer than the half-a-century they had promised her. In fact, for her being gone, it had been near 800 years.

But when she returned to the dimension that April once called home... she knew that for everyone else not even a second had passed by. It would be interesting to adjust to.

Glancing at her PINpoint, glad to note that it still worked, April walked over to the bench that she had told Rain to meet her at. For him, it would have been only a second since he last saw her, as a five-year-old girl. But now, here she was all grown up.

And hoping that he would still consider her a friend.

"You never guessed that my question about relationships might have been because of you?"

He blinks blankly. It had actually not ONCE crossed his mind.

"Uh... well no. I didn't have a clue."

"Oh... well..." Slight flustered April.

"I'm flattered now that I know though." He kisses her again, harder this time.

"Oh..." That knowledge doesn't help April from being flustered. She knows Rain believed her older self as a hottie... but does that mean that she has those traits that would lead to attraction.

"I am glad you are okay with it."

"Of course I am. You know I found and find you attractive. I thought it was obvious."

"You did say that you thought my illusion was attractive."

"But there is a difference between finding the body hot, and the person them self desireable."

"If I hadn't liked you as a person, I wouldn't have kept coming by to answer your questions. I don't generally go out of my way to associate with people I don't like.. I get that enough in my work."

"Okay so you liked me as a person. But does that mean that you might want me as a woman?"

"You're attractive, intelligent, caring and fun to be around. You're a lot wiser than I am and can teach me a lot. What's not to want? You know me about as well as I know you, would you want ME as a man?" He doesn't know what she may have learned about him in her time away.

"Yes." She said simply. "Very much so." April then leans in to kiss him deeply, to strengthen her statement.

Rain returns the affection, parting his lips to let his tongue brush her lips.

The sensation causes another pleasant shiver to run down her body. With a smile, she strokes Rain's hair. Really unsure of what to do next.

Rain was kind of turned on but didn't want to pressure April or rush into anything. He was perfectly content just kissing her and being around her.

"So why don't you tell me more about yourself?" He asked, between kisses, then gives her a chance to answer but starts kissing her neck. He might be distracting.

"Mmmm well, one of my freedoms during training was listening to good rock music and reading fantastic books." Her fingers stroked his hair as he kissed her neck.

"Rock music from our time and dimension or theirs? Futuristic stuff?" He nibbles a bit at her neck between kisses. He's enjoying himself. "What kinds of books do you read?"

"Both. The music from our time was a lot better." April sighs at his attention. "Mystery novels, some science fiction, and indulged in a couple of romance books."

Rain lets his hands play over her bare midriff, making circles on her tummy with his finger while he suckles her neck, moving up to her earlobe. "Romance huh?" He chuckles softly in her ear. "Anything about slayers and half vampires?"

"Only in my mind..." She admitted softly.

"And how did that story go?" he whispered, nibbling on her earlobe gently.

"There were different situations, depending on my mood." April replied. She moved her hands to stroke down his back.

"My favorite was when the Slayer would just be overpowered with passion, and bend the will of the half-vampire."

"And is that the mood you're in now?" He asks, his fingers trailing further down her stomach.

"A little..."

"Only a little?" He asked, his hand moving to the middle of her chest and gently pushing her down on her back on the blanket and moving over her to start biting her neck a little more firmly. His hand moved back down and now touched her bare thighs.

With a squirm of pleasure, April softly moaned. "Well... more than a lot. I just... do not want to rush into anything we are not ready for."
