Slayer 101: Introduction to the Training Centre
After heading from her Dark City home, April took Rain to a quiet place where they could teleport to the Nexus warehouse that she had previously purchased. It had not taken much, for her, after all... because of the fact that April had been gone for 800 years. She had put a little away into this place, when she could. And now it was a complete training center. One that might surprise Rain with how complete it was.
The larger training area included all the required weapons that Rain would require. It was also established an multi-Nexus technology, that would adapt the grounds of the training area as required. If he wanted rooftops - he would get rooftops. If he wanted a cemetery - he would get a cemetery. If he wanted a Mountain top... well you get the idea.
Next to the training center was the library. Here Harley had teleported all of Angel's and Spike's lore books. The ones that they had taken from Wolfram and Hart. Books on every type of Demon, Vampire, or Creature of the Night that Rain would have to learn about. And regular books, that seemed all too ordinary, like that one on History or Latin, but were just as important for Rain to learn as the others were.
There was also a storage area, that contained a couple of mystical required items. Or things like garlic. It was connected to the kitchen area, and of course a nice large walk-in freezer unit for all the food that Rain might ever need. (And a couple of blood supplies for April).
North of the kitchen was the bedrooms. Two. One for both of them. (Just in case they worked to sharing a bed). Both bedrooms had their own private walk-in closet and bathroom. Both had dressers, four-post beds and alarm clocks. Both were also sound proof. There was of course an adjoining door between the two bedrooms.
From Rain's room, which had been painted in dark blues, was a door that lead to a music booth. Where he could place his guitars, play songs, and just be the musician that he was so often denied. Sitting in the middle of a room was a very special guitar. For it was both a guitar and a weapon. A press of one button, and stakes would pop out of the neck. Another button would create a laser-light surround the 'axe' blade, creating a very real and dangerous weapon capable of cutting off a creatures head. There was a third button, that would light the whole thing on fire, without causing damage to the musical instrument.
Of course, April would let Rain explore, while setting up a training session for Rain to start with. Expecting a lot of reaction... hopefully.

"I was thinking we start with a simple rescue mission. Change into something loose..." And she silently prayed it would show off his muscles. Give her something to admire.

"Alright, I'll go change." he digs in his bag and heads off to one of the bedrooms and then comes back in track pants and a blue tank top.
"Ready."

"And I want you to get it done in ten minutes."

"What do I know about fire demons?" he asks as he rifles through his bag and pockets something.
"Do I go in blind?"

The flames were hot. There was a set of stairs crumbling in front of him. From upstairs were the cries of a child. However, down the hall, he could see an adult trying to crawl free from some debris. Which does he go towards first?

The stairs, leading upstairs to the children, is engulfed in more flames. There is a deep voice from within the darkness, "

Suddenly, the roof above him starts to fall down.

But it did not take long for the demon to appear at the window, and start to climb after him. It dug its fire claws in the building, not needing to hanging on to anything.

He grips his heels on the gutter and relaxes his grip on the gutter, sliding down it almost like a fire pole. He lets go and drops the last ten feet. He ducks his head out of the girls arms and hands her the toddler. "Mommy's right around that corner at the front. You go. Find mommy okay?"

But he has bigger fish to deal with. The fire demon springs off the building to tackle him.

And where she is watching, April bites her lip nervously.
It might be hard to roll the Demon off him, it is stronger than Rain at the moment.
