Things had continued to be quiet for the most part, as Rain continued to watch over the changed April, in the fact that she had sacrificed time with her soul for him. The vampire April had been not as violent as one might have predicted. But there was a lot she had learned in the 72 hours of having control of the form she usually shared with human nature.

It was almost time for the spell to be complete. One hour was left.

And it was that hour that might become the most difficult for Rain to deal with. For suddenly, with no reason, April collapsed to the ground, holding her head and crying out in pain.

"I grew up in the same town as you... Limbo selected souls from your area." The little girl states simply. "It was the school playground where I had last been seen."

That was convenient. "My home town or my current one?" he asks curiously. Both were easy to get to with PINpoint after all but he hadn't been home since the funeral.

"Is there anything else you can tell me?"

"Did he say anything to you? Tell you his name?" Rain asked. He wanted to get all the information he could.

((I assume you meant Rain, lol))

"Just... mean things." The girl whispered.

((shush. you did not see a thing))

"Like what?" Rain whispered back.

((I saw nothing))

"That... I was a doll and he liked touching me." The spirit fades slightly again.

"I'll do my best to find you, little one."

"I am allowed to go with you. Perhaps I will be able to direct you better in a familiar setting." The girl noted.

"Oh you are?" He asks. "How do I summon you when I'm ready to go? Or if you want, you can just stay here if that's allowed. I need to stay here with April until she wakes up whole again so that I can let her out of her cage. Then we can go."

((Bedtime))

"Carry my ribbon, and I will be with you." The spirit held out a pale red ribbon.

"Thank you... I need to tend to my girlfriend. As soon as she's alright, I'll head right out looking for your body." Rain pockets the ribbon.

Just as Rain approached the cage, April was waking up. She did look better. And there was a spark of her soul back.
