distractions for an concerned Watcher
For the most part, the last week of training with Rain had gone as normal, and the only thing out-of-ordinary had been the invitation to supper with April's mother. And it had been the conversation over the dinner table that sparked a little worry for April, knowing that her mother had to deal with threats from someone wishing her harm in Gotham.
Harley had urged that April just continue with her life as usual and not put any more thought into the news. Something that was easier said than done.
So to distract herself today, April thought that it was a good time to invite Nate over, and have him spar a little with Rain. At least it was better than sitting around and worrying -- which she had been doing for the last couple of moments while Rain meditated. So she send Nate a text message and hoped that he would soon respond and arrive.

"Nate... this is Rain. Rain this is Nate."
((Nate. Rain. April))

"S'up Nate." Rain replied.

April clicked a couple of buttons on her computer, with the training centre adjusting through a different couple of scenarios.

"You're the watcher April. I'll do whatever you and Nate here agreed on." He was SO close to calling him a bucket of bolts for that kid comment but he held his tongue.

The next patch of vines Nate also attempted to mow down would immeidately grown back on him. Not giving him any leanway.

He started to climb the vines, trying to get on top of the vine wall to run along it if he could.

Which of course he was. April continued to watch the two men. She could see they were quite near each other. Rain might have the jump on Nate, being higher, but it was doubtable.

"Ass... *pant* hole." He wheezed at the suddenly frowning Nate.
((sorry. notifications are down))

"Your objective, find your opponent's flag. Yours is somewhere in the maze as well, would be a good idea to protect it."
no subject
"Don't be a poor sport kid." he said before heading away from Rain, looking for his flag.

In the maze, both men might see a shadowy figure drift along the edges of the walls.
