valentine's day is a time for lovers

For April, during her 800-years of training with the Masters, she had never really given much thought to special holidays. Birthdays, Christmas, or even Valentine's Day. But now that she is with Rain, there is going to be a celebration of their love today, in commemoration of Valentine's Day.

The day will start off simple enough, with a break from training for Rain. Which might be appreciated, after a week of training, and slaying (which has improved even further). But this is not unusually for a Sunday, because it is often a day of rest for the Slayer at the end of each week.

The thing that makes today special, in a romantic way, will be presented closer to evening. When it is time for supper, and Rain will discover that April has set out a picnic blanket and an assortment of romantic foods, including strawberries, chocolate, oysters and whipped cream.

Tonight, April is wearing a seductive animal-print dress, and has the lighting of the room down low. An assortment of candles will give them enough light to eat by. And there is soft music playing in the background.

"Of course you're completely biased however." he grins, lifting her foot to kiss the toes.

She chuckles, half because of his comment, half because of the tinklish sensation at her toes. "Would you rather I not be biased?"

"Nah, I kinda like how highly you think of me." He sucks her baby toe into his mouth, teasing her ticklishly.

"It just encourages your ego." April laughs, squirming from the attention of his mouth on her toes.

"You love my ego." He says, moving his mouth over to the next toe and the next in sequence. He loved this girl. He didn't think this kind of love was possible outside of the movies, but there it was.

"I must admit. Your ego will aid you in difficult situations, were a less-confident slayer would not prevail." She squirmed again. He better be careful, he might get kicked accidently with his efforts.

When she squirms so much, he does stop sucking her toes and goes back to massaging. "I think I've still got some room to grow to catch up with Faith in the ego department."

"Yes but Faith..." April pauses, trying to find the right words for what she wants to say. "Is not quite in your class."

"What do you mean?" he asks, moving to massage her ankle.

"You are far more cocky." April chuckles. Hoping he doesn't try to push for a better explanation.

"Really?" he muses, wondering if there was more to it, but then quips "Well that's because she doesn't have a cock... at least I don't think she does."

April is glad he did not press for more information. It was quite difficult to have such a delicate secret from the man she loved.

"You better not know if she does or not." She mused, with a smirk.

"I'll be honest. I'd rather know if she did or didn't than having accidentally seen her boyfriend's." he makes a face and laughs.
