For the Watcher and the Slayer, things returned to schedule after the weekend, after Rain had been able to slay his very first Demon. And by this time, Rain's body and mind would have adjusted to the hours and the dedication. He would discover that he felt stronger. That he was able to destroy more evil vampires during the night in his world.

Of course, the fact that his difference was much stronger than before, it brought attention to his part of the world. There was the wrong kind of attention, that Rain was not aware of yet, but would have to face in the future.

Tonight, however, it was a different kind of attention that sought Rain out. He had just finished slaying five vampires, at the same time, and had been dusting himself off. When he heard a cough from behind him. The woman who stood there had been there... for who knew how long. She seemed familiar, in a way, but he could not place her name right away with how the night hid her face from sight so far.

"So..." She lit a cigarette. Her face familiar under the flame, it was Faith. The Slayer who had come after Buffy, and had a difficult road herself. "No longer a potential, you are earning your own stripes in life."

"Oh.. my god.. that was amazing." he said as he let her legs down, still thrusting slowly and deeply as he rode out the remainder of her orgasm. He leaned in to bite her neck playfully.

"I felt the same intensity. It was just as good as our first time. Even better." Another low gasp when he bit her.

"You are going to get me turned on again."

He laughs. "Sorry baby." He slowly rolls off her and pulls her to him to cuddle.

"You should be. Getting me all worked up when you need to rest." April tsked against his neck. Cuddling to him.

"What I really need is another shower. I still feel gross."

April gave him a look, like that should not be what he just said after making love to her. "Then shower. And come back to bed to sleep."

Rain knew what that look meant. He leaned over and kissed her. "Did I leave out the part that I was almost waist deep in sewage for you?"

"You did. And you will have to detail fully to me on your little adventure with Faith... in the morning." April strokes his hair. Just a touch of jealousness in her voice in mentioning the other Slayer.

Rain had been with quite a few women, he recognized that tone. "Y'know.. maybe the shower can wait til morning. Something bothering you?"

"Faith is a very beautiful woman, Rain. I trust you, of course. But..." April shrugs. "I still worry."
