sleep heals what ails you

It had been over a day since April called on strong magic to save her dimension. And she still hadn't woken up from her deep slumber. Spike was more than a little worried. It was difficult to ensure that his daughter was healing properly when they couldn't even talk to her. Or ensure that she ate. And he understood that she had exhausted a lot of energy, but still...

He really didn't know what could be done at this moment. And that was why for the tenth time that night he was outside, smoking to release his discomfort and uncertainty. And it would be Spike that would be the first person someone saw -- if they headed towards the Villa tonight.
