how much trouble could this be? (open)
After talking briefly to Cronus in the Nexus, April had the urge to head towards the nearest nightclub. Perhaps this was because of the LOL that had been implanted on her, placing her 'opposite-side' in control. This meant that the vampire was out and wanted to play.
Right now that included listening to good music and seeing how many drinks she could get strangers to buy her. And not really caring if they had alcohol or not.
((ooc note: with Clark-mun away for family emergency, this is an open post to anyone who wants to find April in this LOL'd state))

When he can't sleep, or needs to clear his head, Connor PINpoints to familiar worlds and goes walking. He'd go running instead, but working at the forge most of the day leaves him without the energy for that. The closer Christmas gets, the more restless he is, haunted by memories of holidays with his adopted family.
He's in a dark and distant mood when he walks through the area with the nightclubs, and he skirts them, keeping to the darker side of the street. Which is probably just asking to be mugged, but any mugger that takes on Connor MacLeod will be sorry.

Glancing up at the person approaching her, April raises an eyebrow once she sees who it is. "Connor."

He stops at the familiar voice and turns, wary until he recognizes her. "...April? What are you doing out here?" She's always been kind in the past, and his tone is perfectly casual.

"If the night speaks for activity, lets go find something then?"

Assuming the immortal didn't cut their head off first. It's hidden in his coat, but Connor doesn't go anywhere without his sword.
"...What? I'm... not the clubbing type, anymore..." He looks down at his ratty sweater, jeans, sneakers, and threadbare coat. Connor would make a terrible raver. Even if he does look about the right age.

"How about you and I find the source of the disappearances. And ensure they can not do any more harm?"

"...How do you track that?"

"I guess I'll have to follow you..."

With a nod of her head, April tunes herself to the streets around her. Then directs Connor towards the more rougher part of town.
"Even the sword at your side, hidden by your coat, stands out."
no subject
"...It's an important sword. Older than me."

The vampire would rather the sword be used against someone else than herself. After all Connor is more experienced at that than her. The best she can do is alert her senses to prevent an attack.
She is a suspicious creature at the best of times.
Walking further down the street, a scream interrupts the stillness of the night.

When they round the corner they see a large muscular and horned Demon, who has a young woman by the throat. "A Frayl demon? Really?"

"Hey ugly! Let her go!" The Frayl Demon turns its attention to April.

The former victim struggles to find her feet. April again rolls her eyes. Showing distaste for the victims' cause for alarm and panic.
"Whats wrong big guy? Chasing down prey for some tip-fisted hunter?" April continues to challenge the Frayl demon.

April said to take it alive, but he's pretty sure this thing can take some damage and still keep coming. He shifts his grip on the sword and advances slowly, ready to attack the instant it makes a real move for April.
