day meme: staying warm and keeping pretty
Day 10 – What you wore today, in great detail
Anyone who knows me would most likely agree that I am a girly-girl. I enjoy wearing dresses. And skirts. And form-fitting tops. And jewerly.
What most people don't know is most of my clothing is hand-made. As it is far cheaper to buy the fabric and create my look from there. Of course this method brings some challenges at the approach of winter. To balance staying warm and still saving pennies by making my own clothing.
So today this is what I wore:
The black wool dress had been interested to create. And took longer than I had intended, as it did mean crocheting. The wool is perfect to keep me warm, and allowed me to still show off a little flesh with the strapless top and the skirt cut high.
To accent my golden jewerly, I had selected to wear a golden bra with straps to show off a little. The jewerly included a heart buckle to lift one side of the skirt a little higher than the other; a gold bracelet on my left hand, and a brown bracelet on my right hand.
And of course, make up technically is included in 'what I wore', and I went for a natural theme today. Just the softest hints of pinks.
And that is what I wore today. :)
