Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy? April is very athletic. Tall and slender.

2. How old is she? I have her aged around 16 to 17. With April not knowing her actual birthdate, it can be difficult for an actual year to be estimated.

3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch? Usually April always has a smile and carries herself with dignity. Stands straight, looks people right in the eyes, and usually goes out of her way to help those in need

4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? April is supernaturally healthy. Because of her vampiric abilities, she has enhanced strength, agility and speed. In addition, she has some enhanced healing. (This healing has proven ineffective against supernatural wounds).

5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Graceful, April moves quietly and can sometimes surprise a person with her appearance. Her enhanced agility aids in this, giving her an advantage in her graceful movements.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror? Dakota Fanning = cute and sexy. Er I mean, April has confidence in her attractiveness, but not in a pushy way. Her other side, the Beast does accent any sexual attractiveness to her advantage.

7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? Light, almost pale. Able to enter sunlight, April gets more sun than your typical vampire. But is still hesitant to enter the direct afternoon sunlight. She only has one scar -- a love rune that has been burned into her back. (Happened recently!)

8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style. Long, blond and straight. April usually keeps her hair down. And doesn't really style it in any way particular.

9. What color are her eyes? Blue. But as the Beast, they turn red.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? In her beast form, April does have a pair of fangs.

11. What are her chief tension centers? Often her mind, it is active with many of her extra-sensory perception gifts and acts as her instinct and guide. Hence why she enjoys getting away and relaxing her mind.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit? usually, April dresses in casual and wears a lot of neutral colors. She owns several flowery summer dresses. Of course a couple of standard black coats. And comfortable outfits for sparring, running, and just generally staying active.

13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them? She is always comfortable in what she wears. :D

14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences? What job? April is not employed

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando? Panties :D Okay, okay, brief-style


Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? A soft voice, April talks with confidence and with a friendly-aspect. One sign that her Beast is coming out is that her voice will get growl-like.

2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? When calm and collected, April talks evenly and easily. She only gets more hesitate when talking about private matters, or during more dramatic issues.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? Not any notable accent or dialect. But April does easily get confused with a lot of 'slang' terms and does misuse them.

4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? English, Latin, some French, and wants to learn Spanish.

5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? Not usually. She stays in English during her conversations.

6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? Quick on her feet, April always has a reason for something supernatural, when she has to use it around normal or people not in the know.

7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? An eloquent speaker, April only gets inarticulate when she is under distress.


Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart? Well April never went to school, but has read a lot. And lived most of her life on the streets. So more street-smart, with a dash of book-learning.

2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? She can think on her feet, but April prefers to have time to deliberate her actions/ consequences.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? A logical voice for others, April uses her voices to guide her on a more intuitive level. She does have idealistic hopes for her friends and others she meets.

4. What kind of education has the character had? None! Never went to any kind of school, elementary or high school. Downside to growing up in a demon dimension.

5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about? April is trained in several different types on combat, both hands-on and with weapons. In the last year, since receiving her visions, April has been doing what she can to understand these gifts and how to handle them.

6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert? Oh a little of both, actually. When she first meets a person, she prefers to stay detached and keeps personal-stuff private. But when she knows a person more, she will speak in more detail and be more extroverted.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? For the most part, April is even-tempered. And with a cheerful personality. But when her Beast takes control, it tends to get more possessive, quick-to-anger and quick-to-react.

8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? April likes meeting new people. And enjoys the fact that she has met a lot of new friends through her ventures into the Nexus.

9. Is she more likely to act, or to react? When a friend is in need, she will act. Do what she can to help and provide aid or advice.

10. Which is her default: fight or flight? Fight. April doesn't like running away, because it tends to leave someone behind.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? Most jokes or puns will go right over her head, because she doesn't get the references or understands why it is funny. But she does love to laugh.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them? Nope. The fact that she deals with the Beast is not a diagnosable mental disorder, it is just part of being born of two vampires.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person? At birth, April had been given away to demons to be raised in a darker world. This defined who she is now, and how she reacts to situations and to people around her. Now in the Nexus, and around other humans, April finds them fascinating and wants to learn all she can.
Recently, April was also able to reconnect with her father, and found a relationship that gave her strength. She has grown so much in the last year, since leaving the demon world.

14. What does she fear? Going insane. It would be the worst thing to happen.

15. What are her hopes or aspirations? Despite her knowledge that she has a destiny ahead of her that might mean fighting off an end-of-the-world situation, April still has a lot of hopes and aspirations. She hopes to find her soul mate (and might have), and develop a real bond between her and her father.

16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her? It is difficult for April to tell people that she is a vampire, because she usually gets a bad reaction. Other than that, she is very uncomfortable talking about some of the difficulties that she faced while growing up in the demon dimension.


Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents. Well... her mother abandoned her to demons at birth. And recently slashed a wound into April's neck. As for her father, he had not known about her existence until recently. Not your typical relationship.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? No. Only child. Created by magic, born to two vampires.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand? By blood, there are other vampires she is technically 'related' to, but has never met.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them? Oh yes. April has several close friends who she trusts as one who are close to their family. And recently joined the Scooby family in Untaken Road.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? Okay, this is going to sound sappy. But her best friend is Clark, her boyfriend. And they met after he asked about destiny in the Nexus. She considers him her best friend because they have gone through so much, as they each face their own destinies.

6. Does she have other close friends? A couple. She feels close to Yugi/Yami after her conversations with them. Developed a fondness for Victor (deadgirlsliekme) because of his unieuq ability to 'attract' dead people.

7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people? I like to think that she does. April has yet to run into someone she doesn't get along with.

8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends? Friends. Once again, not that close to her family.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once? Single, but dating.

10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? Dating Clark, who she met through the Nexus.

11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest? Her first crush? Oh a demon who she learned from in the dimension she grew up in. Her lates? Clark.

12. What does she look for in a romantic partner? Strength. Character. An honorable spirit. Someone who is willing to stand at her side in difficult times, and enjoy her company during the easy times. Of course it is nice to have an attractive piece of man-candy.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any? No children. No grandchildren. And hasn't thought about having children. Only 17ish people!

14. Does she have any rivals or enemies? Yes. They are coming. Soon...

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the Kinsey scale?Predominantly heterosexual, only incidentally homosexual (when the Beast is active).

16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her? Would like to experience it at some point in her life, but it does not control her thoughts. She perceives it as something special, and bonding, and very unplannable.

17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? Simple things such as a gentle caress or just an embarrassed smile can give April those flutters in her heart and body. For the Beast, it desires to be possessed and full passion. Neither of them are aware of weird bedroom habits, as they have not made it to that stage.


Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does she fit type? Nope. Have no idea what April's birthday is. And leaving it as that.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life? Spiritual, in the fact she believes in supernatural abilities and gifts. And respects others religions.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? Yes. After living in a world void of morals or ethics, April molded her own morals to be a better person than the demons around her. At times, the Beast will compromise it, and that disturbs her.

4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? Tolerant. She has seen a lot of differences since coming to the Nexus and is usually curious about what drives other people.

5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them? Not a very prejudicial person. April tries to be open-minded.


Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? She is surviving on a strict budget. Don't ask where she got the money though.

2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her? Well she went to living on the street, to living in a comfortable Nexus apartment close to her friends and other associates. In Untaken Road, has taken up residence with the Scooby gang.

3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others?Nexus apartment for DM, and Scooby-Villa for Untaken Road. Both homes are her sanctuary, a place to sleep and rest her mind and spirit.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on? Not much. April is very careful with money, because she has no income.

5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else? Unemployed. And that will become a difficulty sooner or later, once finances become an issue.

6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time? She loves to read and spending time at different locations of interest. April has a lot of free time (as she is unemployed) and enjoys venturing into the Nexus to meet new people.

7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? A light eater, April is open-minded to all foods. No garlic avoidances here! She does require blood, and that can make things awkward.


Associations
Which of the following do you associate with the character, or which is her favorite:

1. Color? Blue. It is the color of aura, when people are happy. And concidentally the color of Clark's eyes.
2. Smell? Freshly mowed grass. Or a morning rain.
3. Time of day? Dusk. Late enough in the day, and still not quite night-time.
4. Season? Spring. So much in bloom.
5. Book? fantasy novels, embracing what comes natural to her.
6. Music? more of a soft-rock girl, with some classical enjoyment
7. Place? The nexus. It has brought so much knowledge to her life
8. Substance? have to say blood, it nourishes her.
9. Plant? Lilies.
10. Animal? she has an affinity for wolves.
