[ooc] 30 Days of Character Development - Day 1
1. Describe your character’s relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?
April was abandoned by her mother as an infant, so never knew either her mother or father growing up. She was given to Demons in Quo'Toth, to make matters worse, and didn't have a proper childhood as a result.
Once April returned to her right dimension, she was angry and hunted down her mother and father. Her anger and hatred led her to killing her mother, Drusilla. Things were a little different when it came to facing her father, Spike. April allowed herself to actually feel the pain and sorrow in her heart and give Spike a chance to prove himself as a father.
Which he did. She and Spike have a healthy father-daughter relationship now. He is there when she needs him, and vice versa. And Spike is definitely enjoying being a grandfather.
