visiting the Nexus greenhouse

After making all the important arrangements with those that operate the Nexus greenhouse, April is finally able to send Finn an invitation.

Using his contact information, she sends him the PINpoint address of the greenhouse. "Come on down to the greenhouse. The flowers are waiting."

"Remember, I can't get sick. And this is useful information for you," a gentle stroke of his cheek with this statement.

He hadn't forgotten. She said her abilities SHOULD keep her safe, he had still been concerned.

He blushes a bit. "I suppose it is. Thank you."

In the moment that was presented, April gently kissed his lips.

"Anything else that you are curious about?"

Finn was taken aback and surprised at the kiss.

".....actually I think my mind just went completely blank. What's my name again?"

His response gets a laugh. "Hopefully a good blank."

"It might be when I remember who the hell I am and what I did to deserve a kiss from a pretty blonde I just met." he chuckles.

"Finn."

"And it had been the moment."

"In that case, yes. A very good blank." He smiled.

"Good." April touches his lips with her fingers. Then stands from her seat. "Pizza time?"

"You already ate." he teased. "Yes, I'd love some pizza." He nodded and stroked the petals of a nearby plant.

"If I was a selfish person, I would have demanded something in return from you for the vampire kiss." April uses her cell phone to order the pizza from a Nexus delivery business.

"You got my blood. Was there something else you wanted?"

"Your blood was very satisfactory." April reassures him. While it had been Finn who requested her to bite him, it was a benefit for both of them. "And I know you were turned on."

"Yeah... Well pretty blonde sucking on my neck.." He blushed hard. "Howd you know?"

"I am able to see auras. Yours filled with colors of excitement and passion."

"Wow... Can't get anything by you can I?" He reached down casually and adjusted himself again.

"Barely. It makes things interesting."

He sticks his tongue out at her and smiles, embarrassed.

He gets a tongue out back. Then the pizza arrives.

"Wow, they're quick." he says, trying to avoid thinking about how nice her lips were. "Can I go halves on the pizza?"

"One nice thing about the Nexus delivery system. It is quick and the order is always hot and ready."

She sets out some plates and opens the all dressed pizza. "If you want, sure."

"I wouldn't feel right, you treating me seeing as we just met." He explains, pulling out his wallet and offering her half the cost of the pizza. He sits down and grabs a slice, putting it on his plate before digging in. "Wow.... this is great."

"I find that interesting. You want to foot half the bill, and yet still let me bite you."

"Interesting? Why? It's only fair. I'll probably eat more of this than you will since you just had a snack."

"Fair? I think it is more a guy thing. They always need to step forward and offer cash for meals 'because we just met'. But still do not use the same reasoning if they are kissed. Or stroked. Or anything a little more sexual."
