Something was happening in Rome. April could feel it. Her dreams were restless, because of the sensations and her continued worries about Clark. Her sketches of Glory and Jasmine became more and more frequent.
She would have to return to Rome to figure things out. Perhaps take Cordelia's suggestion and talk to Angel. He knew Drusilla as a human, and perhaps could give April some insight to her visions. To what was happening to her. To these new strange powers.
Of course, April knew that the timeline in Smallville would continue on without her, and move forward a little quicker than normal. So just in case, she left a note for Clark by her bed. They had not seen much of each other in the last couple of days.
April had been giving him space. Time to be by himself. But just in case he came looking for her, wanting to talk to her, she felt it would be wise to leave a note of explanation.
It was simple and to the point. Clark. Have to return to my universe for a bit. I shall return shortly. Thinking of you. Please stay safe. Love you.
With all that handled, April collected her sketch pad and books and returned to the Buffyverse.
