Sep. 10th, 2013 08:30 pmHonestly, April has never been in this situation before. Clark was hurt, pretty bad that he is still recovering. And worse... he had Kryptonite shrapnel in his body, meaning he had no powers.
So he couldn't go out and be Superman. And she could tell that was wearing thing for Clark.
He still had the journalism job at the Daily Planet, but she knew that every time a crime came into the newsroom, that it was very hard for Clark not to answer the call for Justice.
April knew how it felt -- she was taken out of the field during her last pregnancy. But for Clark, this was the first time since he took on the mantle of Superman -- that he wasn't there for the people who needed him.
And she was concerned for him. And she just didn't know how to help.
So he couldn't go out and be Superman. And she could tell that was wearing thing for Clark.
